Catfish

So, for the first time since the beginning of the semester I had a free night!  So, I was browsing the TV and happened across a movie called Catfish.  The synopsis sounded interesting enough, so I decided to watch it.  I don’t want to spoil the story, but I think it is a very good movie about the possibilities that can happen when interacting with someone only by voice and text.  Nev and his team are very courageous for meeting Angela even after they find out something’s wrong.  For this not to be a thriller, the farm scene had me on edge.  The only part I did not care for was how Nev reacted to finding out the truth.  I would have been very upset that Angela had been doing this to me (and who knows how many other people), yet Nev finds it amusing, and doesn’t even show any kind of upset emotion.   Overall, this movie even though light-hearted hinted at the dangers that can come about in online relationships.
